The Domaine de Saint Aubin
Do you want a reception hall steeped in history for your wedding in Mauritius? This authentic village hall is steeped in history. It is the ideal place to celebrate a wedding or for a conference.
If you wish to rent the Saint Aubin estate, two formulas are possible. During the day, the rental of the reception room amounts to Rs 115,000 for a rental from 09:00 to 17:00. For an evening rental, from 5 p.m. to midnight, you will need to plan a budget of Rs 74,750.
If you wish to extend the rental of the reception hall in Mauritius, it is possible to reserve the area until 5 am. You will need to plan for an additional charge of Rs 6,900 per hour.
A few kilometers north of Souillac in the direction of Rivière des Anguilles is this very beautiful 19th century colonial residence. Original residence of the owners of the sugar plantation, it was built in 1819 near the factory, with wood from demolished ships. The staircase leading to the first floor was also arranged around a ship’s mast, and the framework of the attic is that of an old hull.
In 1970, and due to the noise pollution generated by an increasingly imposing sugar factory, the owners decided to rebuild the house a few hundred meters further on, on the site it occupies today.
